Objetive: | Arbitration has taken on increased importance in Latin America as a tool for settling disputes. This certification course focuses on arbitration in the region, with the aim of connecting practitioners, providing feedback and improving practice. We start with a network of professors (from Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Switzerland, Peru, the USA, among others), and teach the key elements of arbitration using a pragmatic approach. This is an opportunity to offer high-quality formation to Spanish-speaking lawyers who wish to improve or start up their own arbitration practice. The course serves to establish links between professionals from different regions, including arbitrators, attorneys, academics, corporate lawyers and others interested in the topic. Each guest professor schedules his or her synchronous session. In the asynchronous sessions, participants work on practical exercises. |
