Materials Management and Logistics
Develop competencies and learn tools for materials management, warehouse operations and company logistics, with a focus on cost redcution and value generation.
Duration 120 hours over 30 weeks In-person modality
The aim is to form professionals who can analyze industrial and business scenarios from a supply-chain perspective, in order to support decision-making and the design of effective solutions that will enhance value creation and improve performance in the logistics and materials management areas.
The course is intended for people with responsibility over supply chains, logistics and materials management, such as logistics professionals; purchasers; coordinators of distribution centers and/or warehouses; shipping managers; planners; people in charge of transportation, inventory and related areas; as well as entrepreneurs seeking to professionalize their business.

By the end of the program
Participants will be able to analyze a company's logistics chain and evaluate its strengths and weaknesses, undertake the planning of facilities, materials and human resources needed to meet forecasts, manage purchases, and take care of traffic functions and transportation decisions. They will be capable of designing and managing warehouses and distribution centers, implementing best practices in logistics areas and warehouses, and formulating and solving optimization models for cost-based decision-making related to purchasing, warehousing and transportation.
