The Art of Storytelling
Explore your creativity as a narrator and acquire communication skills for conveying in public an essential personal story effectively and memorably.
Duration 40 hours over 10 weeks Online modality
The aim of this course is to accompany students as they develop the communication skills needed to convey in public personal experiences constructed as stories.
The objective is to help connect our personal story with what we do and communicate. The methodology seeks to integrate self-knowledge strategies, personal growth and improvement with the latest formats for dissemination and story-telling (TED talks, Live Journalism, Spoken Word, Podcast, Pop Up Magazine, etc.).
The methodology is based on the Live Diary format, enormously successful in Europe and the United States. The Live Diary workshops and representations are aimed at personal work for communicating stories. They connect with narrative subjectivity (self-fiction, interior monologue, memories, life testimonies, etc.), but through language adapted to the theatrical dimension. The starting point is the essential value of stories anchored in a meaningful self. The destination is reaching the audience in a memorable way and transmitting a motivational current.
Intended for all those who need to master the art of Storytelling, such as communicators and journalists, scientific communicators, social and business leaders, consultants, executives and team leaders, professors and graduate students, interpreters, writers and curators, cultural managers, and heads of public agencies and administrations.
