The certification course opens a space for studying, appreciating and discussing modern and contemporary art from the perspective of different disciplines. On the basis of a general overview of the arts and their context through theory and history, and of lived experiences in reviewing the practices of professionals in the field, students will have the opportunity to develop their own criteria.
By appreciating the theory and history of modern and contemporary art, students in this academic program will analyze the factors that led to the development of the current art scene. At the same time, they will be able to interact with practicing professionals in their actual work spaces.
Intended for the general public interested in studying art and its manifestations from the late 19th century up to the present day, as well as creators and students in the areas of the humanities, social sciences, culture science, art history, cultural management, visual arts and other related disciplines.
