Alternative and Restorative Justice
The purpose of this certificate course is to provide law students and lawyers, as well as professionals in related areas such as Psychology, International Relations, Political Science and Public Administration, and other social sciences, with new approaches to justice based on an understanding of alternative and restorative justice, and with tools and skills to apply alternative methods for preventing and resolving conflicts, such as mediation, conciliation and negotiation, in matters of family, civil, commercial, and criminal law, using methodologies and techniques that discourage hostile attitudes between the parties involved in conflicts, with an aim to promoting new approaches to Justice.
